V Light Hair Extensions

V Light extensions add volume to the hair and are typically applied to the hairline perimeter or at the crown (top) of the head. This hair extensions technique is perfect for thinning hair.

V Light extensions can be washed daily but excessive blow drying and heat styling are usually not recommended because the heat can weaken the bonds, so this technique is good if you plan to occasionally blow dry your hair and use heatless curls only. Removal of V Light extensions is not required because the extensions will remain in place and grow out with the natural hair.

Keratin Fusion (K-tips) Hair Extensions

K-tip extensions can be washed, blow dried, and heat styled daily without weakening the bonds, they are the most versatile and natural looking hair extensions technique available.

Keratin Fusion extensions are PERMANENT, they can be removed but the chemical solvent used to remove them is so harsh, I definitely don't use it. Once bonded to the natural hair, to remove K-tips I prefer to "cut them out" after your natural hair has about 4-5 inches of new growth, and then I can add new extensions. I recommend replacing K-tips extensions every 6-12 months depending on how fast your hair grows.
